A committee “yes” is a recommendation, not legalization. The path has two stages: first the PCAC vote, then formal FDA rulemaking. Each peptide effectively turns on both — which is why a favorable vote still doesn’t mean you can fill a prescription the next day.

What happens before the end of February 2027

The committee will consider whether GHK-Cu should go on the 503A bulks list. The FDA’s notice names no indication and does not separate the routes. A “yes” is a recommendation only; the FDA would then need to complete rulemaking. For injectable GHK-Cu, realistic patient access, if it happens at all, is late 2027 at the earliest. Non-injectable GHK-Cu is already inside the FDA’s interim policy.
